Bitcoin trades below $26,200; Toncoin, XRP shed up to 3%

The major crypto tokens were trading in the red today. Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.5% to $26,157, whereas Ethereum (ETH) was below the 1,600 level. Meanwhile, the global cryptocurrency market cap was trading lower, around $1.04 trillion, falling 1.16% in the last 24 hours. The markets remained calm over the weekend with BTC falling to retain the $27,000 level. Other crypto tokens were also trading lower. XRP and Toncoin surged up to 3%, while dogecoin, Ethereum, BNB, and Solana fell by 1%. The market cap of Bitcoin, the world’s largest crypto token, was around $509 billion. Bitcoin’s dominance is currently 48.94%, according to CoinMarketCap.
