Coca-Cola Launches Its First NFT Collection on Coinbase’s Base

The American multinational company Coca-Cola announced the launch of its first NFT collection, Masterpiece, as part of the industry giant embracing non-fungible tokens. The company introduced the NFT collection on Coinbase’s Layer 2 blockchain, Base, in connection with its Onchain Summer event. According to the official statement released by the platform on August 13, the Masterpiece collection includes classic masterpieces like Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” and Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” The Masterpiece collection uniquely brings together iconic artworks along with new works from emerging talents.
