THERMAL CAMERA FOR FEVER DETECTION

Viral and bacterial infections that spread through human contact and airborne transmission pose a serious health problem, including the possibility of pandemics, as shown by recent flu outbreaks – COVID-19.

Infrared thermography can help detect elevated body temperatures which may indicate the presence of a fever. As such, the use of infrared as an adjunctive diagnostic tool to help detect people with a potential fever may contain or limit the spread of diseases such as COVID-19, bird and swine flu, or SARS.

How our solution is more effective?
Cameras automatically detect elevated skin temperatures that may indicate a fever and underlying infection. Each camera’s unique Automatic Temperature Compensator (ATC) adjusts for ambient conditions to minimize false readings. The color image, temperature scale, and alarm mechanism make it easy to decide when a person needs further examination

1. Simple, Manageable, all-in-one architecture

2. IP addressable enabling remote management and support

3. ATC technology adjusts for ambient conditions to minimize false reading

MEASUREMENT ACCURACY AND STANDARDS

Traceability:

The measurement results are by regular calibrations of the laboratory’s standards traceable to the Swedish national laboratory for temperature at SP. The national laboratory for temperature realizes ITS-90 from –189.3442°C to 2600°C. To ensure international equivalence and acceptance of the established traceability, interlaboratory comparisons are made between national laboratories..

BIPM:

(Bureau International des Poids et Measures, www.bipm.org) The BIPM ensures world-wide uniformity of measurements and their traceability. The BIPM organizes international comparisons of national measurement standards.

Certification:

Calibration Certificate issued by the Swedish National Laboratory

The FLIR A320 is a camera preconfigured to work well in applications where you want to find temperature deviations in a population of people, utilizing difference temperature alarms with a dynamically updated reference temperature

A unique FLIR feature: the Automatic Temperature Compensator (ATC ): FLIR has equipped its infrared cameras with an Automatic Temperature Compensator (ATC) to avoid generating false alarm. The ATC constantly calculates a moving average of the body temperatures from the last 10 scanned people. The two highest and the two lowest values are not taken into account when making this calculation
